HRR wrapped up a great year with our 5th RiverWalk and a glimpse of what’s to come

We had a very vibrant and wonderful series of five RiverWalks during 2025 that culminated in a snowy walk along the Berms where architects Tessa Kelly and Chris Parkinson of ARCADE brought prototypes for flags to be made and installed along the river’s path through North Adams. Details are still in the creative phase but after the walk along the Berms, we gathered at Hotel Downstreet for some warm refreshments and a presentation of the plans thus far. Mayor Jennifer Macksey joined the festivities and gave her full support to the project, vowing that the city would partner with HRR to figure out the best plans and then make them happen. We are so grateful for this support and for all of you who participated in our Riverwalks of 2025. We look forward to having you join us in the new year. Happy Holidays!
