Come celebrate with us the inspiring story of the river project…70 year-old aging walls and parched river soon to be known for its safety and restoration… Saturday, May 3 at 11 am at the corner of River and Houghton Streets!

We will also be kickstarting our Placemaking Initiative in collaboration with Tessa Kelly and Chris Parkinson from Group Work. They will be presenting initial ideas and soliciting feedback from community members about our collaborative project to re-envision 3 sites along the Hoosic River—Beaver Mill, Willow Dell, and the Berms. The project is a partnership between HRR, the City of North Adams, and BRPC with support from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Municipal Vulnerability Program (MVP) grant program.

We are so grateful for MASS MoCA’s ‘Community Partnership’ gift: 3 months of HRR project information, expert design advice, and the production of a most informative piece of artwork!
