We’re excited to bring back the Hoosic River Run for its second year on September 19th. After hearing your feedback from last year, we have added a half marathon—making it the first race of its kind to run through North Adams! All routes feature stunning mountain views, sections along the Hoosic River, pass by art installations at MASS MoCA, and weave through beautiful downtown North Adams.

A $10 student discount will be available at the checkout for the 5K and Half Marathon distances only, for participants ages 13–22.

The 1-Mile Walk will be an out and back on the 5K route
Race Day Schedule:
Race Start Times: Half Marathon @ 8am, 5K @ 8:15am and 1-Mile Walk to follow immediately after the 5K
Post Race Celebration: Will run from 10am-1:30pm and will include music, refreshments, and age division awards.
Packet Pickup:
Early Bib Pick-Up: 9/18, 5-7pm at Building 1 @ MASS MoCA (next to Bright Ideas)
Race Day Registration & Bib Pick-Up: 9/19, 7-8am at the start line
Awards & Amenities:
T-shirts will be available in adult sizes XS–XXL and guaranteed for all who register by 8/19. Additional shirts will be available on race day while supplies last.
All 5K and Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative race medal.
We will recognize first-place male, female, and nonbinary finishers in both the 5K and Half Marathon across the following age divisions:: 12 & under, 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
